Description

Southwest Persian Kelim made in the  late 19th century. Slit tapestry weave in naturally dyed wool and white cotton. Very minor repairs, overall very good condition. The soft colours are unusual for a Kelim of this type. See also Tanavoli, Parvis, Persian Flatweaves. 2002, pp. 184 & 185
