Description

Large kelim with a repeat of two blocks of stripes, each stripe measuring about 6.5 cm in width. The simplicity of the design gives it a very contemporary look.

A nice brocading detail and elaborately knotted fringes form the ends of this kelim, which is worked in two pieces.

The  kelim is woven in undyed and naturally dyed wool and some goat hair. It has a sturdy, heavy handle. A good furnishing piece.
