Silk embroidery made in Sindh which was a part of India at the time the textile was made in the late 19th century.  Pink/red silk, with the dye derived from cochineal,  and green silk on cotton; conserved and mounted on a stretcher; the textile is slightly stained, but  otherwise in good condition.
