Persian Contemporary Azeri Sofreh

reference:  OV 18.4

Sofrehs are flat woven cloths used either as dining sofrehs or as bread (or flour) sofrehs.  Like the other sofreh on this website (see https://www.christopherleggeorientalcarpets.com/products/view/azeri-sofreh/), this bread sofreh of almost square size  is a kelim from Persian Azerbaijan, with the weft made of wool and the warp in cotton.
