This Bidjar runner was made by a Kurdish weaver in the typically dense weave characteristic of all Bidjar weavings, antique and new. It is a superb carpet in every respect: the quality of the wool and the natural dyes, the technical skill of the weaver as well as her artistic sense of spacing and balance of colour. This, and the relatively small size, make this elegant piece a very desirable object for the home.
