Description

Complete Southwest Persian Qashqai double-sided bag, or Khorjin, a beautiful example of its type.  Excellent quality of wool and dyes, with a lovely range of colours, and a very soft handle.

Although the basic layout of this design is always the same, the details in the corners and in the central lozenge vary enormously so that no two bags are ever exactly alike.

Small areas of moth damage, overall very good condition. All the loops and closures are present and in good condition. The plain red kelim back also is in near perfect condition.
