Description

This runner was made by a Kurdish weaver. Bidjar rugs typically have a very dense weave; this example is no exception. It has excellent quality of wool and natural dyes, including a lovely primary and secondary red based on the dye made from the root of the madder plant. The design is traditional but with a modern twist – a very good small runner that will last for many generations.
