ref: 6639)

After a cartoon by Jean-Baptiste Pillement (1728-1808), with strong chinoiserie influences. This style was very popular throughout Europe in the 18th century and often featured fantastic landscapes including fabulous birds and pagoda-style buildings. Tapestry weave in wool and silk. Some repairs, overall good condition. Very fresh colours
